Matsutake, slippery jack, suillus host.
Yellow slimy-capped Suillus bolete, specific to eastern white pine. Yellow pores, partial veil leaves a ring. Peel the sticky cap skin before cooking; some individuals get GI upset.
Under eastern white pine across eastern North America. Summer through fall.
